SEO is a three-letter acronym that hides dozens of disciplines. Technical infrastructure, content production, link strategy, user experience, even brand perception. Biber Dijital has delivered SEO to 50+ brands over six years, and here's what we've learned: there are no shortcuts — but there is a map. In this post, we hand over the map we use.
First, the audit: an X-ray of the site
We never go into an SEO project blind. The first two weeks are a technical SEO audit: a 360° crawl with Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and Analytics history, competitor benchmarking. The output is a findings report with 40–80 items — each rated by priority, deferrability and estimated effort.
What the audit covers
- Crawling and indexing: robots.txt, sitemap, canonical, hreflang
- Site speed: Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), mobile score, server response time
- On-page: title tags, meta descriptions, H1–H6 hierarchy, alt text
- Structured data: JSON-LD schemas, rich-result eligibility
- Internal link architecture: orphan pages, content buried deep
- Backlink profile: referring domains, harmful links
- Mobile fit: tap target size, viewport, touch accessibility
- Security: HTTPS, mixed content, security headers
Keywords: what the user is actually asking
Keyword research isn't just "most-searched terms" — it's understanding user intent. The same phrase can hide three different intents:
- Information seeker: "how to build a corporate website" — blog post
- Comparison shopper: "best corporate web agencies" — roundup/guide
- Ready to buy: "corporate web design pricing istanbul" — service/pricing page
Biber Dijital evaluates every keyword by intent, competition, monthly volume and conversion potential. Ahrefs, SEMrush and Google Search Console data are merged into a prioritised keyword map.
Technical SEO: without solid foundations, content is wasted
Publishing the best article in the world on the slowest site won't get you to the top. We bring every client's infrastructure into the green on Core Web Vitals. Typical interventions:
- Images converted to AVIF/WebP, lazy-loading applied
- Critical CSS inlined, the rest deferred
- Fonts preloaded, font-display: swap
- Unused third-party scripts removed
- CDN distribution (Cloudflare, BunnyCDN)
- Server-side rendering or static generation (Astro, Next.js)
- hreflang, canonical and pagination rules correctly set
- JSON-LD schemas: Organization, Product, FAQ, Breadcrumb
Content strategy: for the human, not the crawler
From late 2024 on, Google's "helpful content" updates have rewarded content genuinely written for humans. Writing for SEO and writing content that earns SEO are different disciplines. Our take: every piece answers a real question with a real solution.
Here's the recipe: we build topic clusters — one pillar page surrounded by 8–15 supporting articles. They link meaningfully back to the pillar and to each other. Each piece has a search intent + outline + reference sources brief; writing is done by people inside the field, editing is handled by a craft layer.
What good SEO content looks like
- The question answered in under 60 words (for AI-search snippets)
- Clear H2–H3 hierarchy (scannable)
- Original data, examples, illustrations
- Internal links (services, other posts, case studies)
- FAQ section with schema
- Publication date and "last updated" indicator
Local SEO: showing up in your neighbourhood's Google
To land on top of "istanbul kadikoy digital agency" searches, your Google Business Profile matters as much as your site's authority. Hours, reviews, photos, product/service category, link to site — every field is a signal. For customer-facing local businesses (restaurant, café, clinic, service), local SEO drives 60–80% of organic traffic.
Backlinks: authority, not gambling
Google still rewards quality external links. But we don't fall into the "1,000 backlinks for $500" trap. Valuable sites in your sector, press mentions, university / NGO links, guest author placements, PR relationships — all organic and sustainable backlink sources.
We target 2–5 qualified backlinks per month. Few, but high quality. Competitor backlink analysis via Ahrefs, industry press releases, partnership articles — tactics vary, but the principle stays: honest, in context, sustainable.
The AI search era: Gemini, Perplexity, ChatGPT
As of 2026, a significant slice of searches comes through AI-powered systems: Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, ChatGPT Search. They answer the user without even opening your site. In this "zero-click" landscape, the winner is whoever gets cited as a source.
So we write content like this: under every subheading, a crisp one-paragraph answer, then the deep dive. Structured data via FAQ and HowTo schemas. Original data and authoritative source links. Those are the signals AI needs to cite you.
Measurement and reporting: monthly, crystal clear
SEO's most common criticism is feeling like a black box. We ship a clean report every month: organic traffic, ranking changes, conversions, comparison to previous month, what we changed that month. Four pages, plain — but every reader leaves understanding which gain came from which move.
The bottom line: sustainable, independent growth
SEO starts slow compared to paid ads, but once it takes hold, it becomes a channel that earns money while you sleep. Stop ads and traffic stops; a well-earned SEO engine keeps finding you new visitors at month-end. The Biber Dijital recipe: audit → infrastructure → content → authority → measurement. Every month we spin the loop again.
